IFFCO Bazar

The platform has been created in line with the new cashless drive and digital initiative as announced by the Prime Minister of India and provides a single digital platform to facilitate commerce and communication between IFFCO, its group companies, different societies, and consumers. To make easier to access by the masses, the platform is available in 10 different regional languages, offering the rural parts of India a way to be seamlessly connected to the rest of India. It offers farmers no Minimum Order value and a Free Delivery Scheme, empowering them to gain greater control over the commercial side of their business.

The iMandi

Announced via a tweet, Director of IFFCO Tokio, Dr US Awasthi, shared the news about the launch of iMandi:

Glad to share that today #IFFCO launched a new smart phone multipurpose application for #iMandi for the #farmers and all those who have interest in #farming #agriculture. @iffcoyogendra marketing director #IFFCO launched it from Birhikalan village of dadri in #haryana.

The app that was launched in Haryana by the IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar, offers numerous features to Indian farmers, including the fact that the app is to act as a one stop app for farmers. One can order agri stuff at discounts, visit forums to discuss agri-related issues, and listen to some songs. The app also has a knowledge treasure trove called the Gyan Bhandar, which is definitely going to prove very helpful for the Indian farmers.

IFFCO has always worked towards the betterment of Indian farmers, a fact that can be seen clearly in their many efforts.
